Defining moments often come during our darkest hours. My journey to fostering more inclusive workplaces was born from a personal struggle with seeing and experiencing discrimination and retaliation in the workplace. A struggle that illuminated the deeply entrenched bias even in seemingly 'progressive' environments.



The cost of such discrimination is high – the waste of talent, resources, and time, not to mention the resultant toxic culture that diminishes productivity and increases staff turnover. The targets of discrimination are often the highest performing and most liked people in an Organization, so organizations are losing their best employees to companies that are embracing a positive work culture and understanding that the future of work is much less toxic.


The Hive was built with the objective to transition workplaces from toxicity to genuine inclusivity. We aim to root out discriminatory practices, foster acceptance, and celebrate diversity.


As Pride Month unfolds, let's stand up against all forms of systemic discrimination. It’s an ongoing effort to ensure our workplaces are safe, inclusive, and equal for all, irrespective of sexual orientation or gender identity or any other personal characteristic.
